The Doja Culture Café (DCC) held its official grand opening Thursday afternoon fusing fresh coffee, fresh beats, and a fresh mindset towards cannabis into a great atmosphere.
Located downtown on Bernard Avenue, the DCC is unmistakenly a cannabis cafe but there is absolutely zero marijuana to be found.
“It’s not a dispensary. The Doja Culture Café is a place to have cannabis information nights for patients, discussions with doctors, things of that nature,” said founder Trent Kitsch.
"But it's also like stepping into a european coffeeshop, we hope to have a liquor license in the future, with the doors open 8 till late featuring great music, food, and a fun atmosphere."
The building is actually a renovated landmark, as it was once home to Kelowna's first post office.
"Our team has been working tirelessly to design an amazing atmosphere," said Kitsch. "We want the coffee to be on point, the art to be inspiring and really turn this into a venue where Kelowna can rally to push the cannabis future forward."
Swing by the Doja Culture Café at 274 Bernard and check it out!
