Just over a month after another successful edition of Rock the Lake, organizers have already turned their attention to the 2024 event.
Today, dates were announced for next year’s festival, with Rock the Lake set to return to the Prospera Place parking lot in downtown Kelowna from Aug. 9-11, 2024.
It may still be nearly 11 months away, but general admission weekend passes are now available with an early-bird price of just $109.
“We are thrilled to announce that Rock the Lake planning has already begun for next summer,” said Krisann Hamazaki, head of marketing for GSL Group.
“Our festival this year was such a success, featuring some incredible bands, so it will be a tough act to follow but we’ve already got some exciting surprises in the works and we can’t wait to unveil the new lineup for 2024 over the coming months.”
Since 2016, the festival has brought in big names like Tom Cochrane, Nazareth, Kim Mitchell, The Tea Party, Bif Naked, Loverboy, April Wine, Collective Soul and plenty others.
The lineup got a bit of a fresh feel this year, as Friday night’s bill featured younger acts like Death From Above 1979 and Hotel Mira, potentially a sign of things to come in the future.
We’ll have to wait to see what awaits in 2024, as more details on next year’s festival and the lineup will be released in the coming months.
