Another access closure is happening at Kalamoir Regional Park this week.
According to the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO), the Benedick Road entrance near the Casa Loma neighbourhood will be closed to allow the removal of two trees from the trail point access. However, the park will remain open.
Anyone wanting to visit the regional park is asked to keep an eye out for signage and barriers on Wednesday, April 17 in this portion of the park, says a news release.
“We thank visitors for their understanding and cooperation while the work occurs,” the RDCO says.
An alternate trail access point should be used during this time, the RDCO says.
All other trail entrances will remain open, including those at Collens Hill Road, Sunnyside Road and King Road.
This is the second time this park access point has been closed this month for maintenance work.
The park access point was closed on April 9 to allow crews to repair the fence and retaining wall.
