Creative Okanagan is hosting In Tune, a music industry mixer, at Red Bird Brewing on Monday, June 5.
Designed for aspiring bands and musicians, the event is intended to provide an opportunity for locals to unlock their musical journey, discover the value of attending conferences and gain insight from a panel of local artists.
Following a kick-starter performance by Freeze the Fall, a local alternative rock band, artists such as Ezra Cipes, Tega Ovie, Bex and Dan Tait will share their first-hand experiences from the conference circuit.
In addition, there will be a giveaway for a pass to BreakOut West, a conference in Kelowna that features four days of immersive content, international market deep dives, one-on-one meetings with industry professionals, artist mentorship, keynotes and networking.
Anyone interested in winning a ticket to the conference must attend the music industry mixer panel discussion and gain the insider knowledge necessary to answer the giveaway entry question.
Creative Okanagan is a non-profit organization with a mission to build a stronger music ecosystem in the Central Okanagan.
Monday’s In Tune event will take place between 6 and 8:30 pm at 1080 Richter St.
Tickets are available for $10.50, which includes a complimentary beverage.
