Kelowna's new downtown night market debuts this week

Kelowna’s new night market launches this week in the downtown core.

The market will debut at Kerry Park and the 200-block of Bernard Avenue.

Earlier this year, the Downtown Kelowna Association (DKA) said the market will feature a mix of downtown businesses, along with local artisans, crafters and food producers.

The fun new market, which coincides with Meet Me on Bernard, will be happening every Thursday, with the exception of June 27 and Aug. 1, until Labour Day weekend.

It will run from 4-9 pm, the perfect time to browse products while catching a sunset this summer.

The DKA calls it a key component of the evolving programming strategy for the summer initiative.
