A women’s gym in Kelowna was forced to close today after a vehicle crashed through the front of the building.
TWP Fitness shared an update to social media this morning saying the gym was temporarily closed for the day due to an unexpected incident.
In an afternoon update, the gym said the incident involved a vehicle that drove through the windows that front the business at 109-1851 Kirschner Rd.

“We are very grateful to report that there were no serious injuries,” the update said. “Everyone is safe, which is what matters most.”
The update from owners Taylor Kolar, Ashley Munro and Brock Munro said Total Restoration Services got to work quickly and “have been absolutely amazing” repairing the damage.
As a result, TWP Fitness is aiming to reopen in time for their early-morning classes at 5:30 am Thursday and promised to confirm reopening plans over social media Wednesday night.
“Thank you so much to everyone who helped earlier today, those who have reached out with well wishes, our incredible team and the first responders,” the post noted. “This community always knows how to show up!”
