This year, we are incredibly grateful for their $5,000 donation, which will make a significant impact on Kelowna Santas.
Kelowna Santas, a volunteer-led initiative that began 11 years ago, is dedicated to providing toys and gifts to less fortunate families and children across the Okanagan during the Christmas season.
Over the past eight years, TD's contributions have played a vital role in spreading holiday cheer and ensuring that every child in the Okanagan has something special to unwrap on Christmas morning.
Their donation and support will be instrumental in purchasing toys for children from disadvantaged families.
With each toy purchased, a message of compassion and support is sent, reminding these families that they are not alone during the holiday season.
TD supports community organizations like Kelowna Santas through the TD Ready Commitment, the bank's corporate citizenship platform. To help create the conditions so everyone has the chance to succeed in a changing world, TD is targeting $1 billion by 2030 towards community giving that creates positive change, nurtures progress and contributes to making the world a better, more inclusive place.
