There’s no shortage of fundraising efforts around the holiday season, many with a focus on collecting toys for children in need.
A Kelowna tattoo shop is getting in on those charitable efforts with a toy drive that will certainly appeal to those looking to get some new ink.
Don’t Look Down tattoo shop in downtown Kelowna will be holding their special toy drive from 11 am until 7 pm on Sunday, Dec. 10.
The unique twist is that participants can bring in a new, unwrapped toy and $25 to donate to the cause and get themselves a new tattoo in exchange.
“This event goes beyond traditional holiday giving, combining the artistry of tattooing with the spirit of generosity,” explained a release from managers Ashton and Liza.
“We believe it showcases the heart of our community, with local businesses coming together to make a positive impact. It's a creative and festive way to spread holiday cheer while giving back to those in need.”
