The Central Okanagan Minor Baseball Association (COMBA) has been shortlisted to receive a grant from the Jays Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays.

To celebrate the occasion, COMBA and the City of Kelowna are hosting a live watch party at Edith Gay Park on April 30, at 3:15 pm.

There will be ice cream and the concession stand will be opened while participants watch Blue Jays Central and wait for the announcement at 3:30 pm.

Last year, Peachland’s Turner Park was one of the 15 communities selected to split the $1.5 million grant.
