The Kelowna Minor Lacrosse Association (KMLA) has announced a fantastic opportunity for young sports enthusiasts to dive into the world of Box Lacrosse. On December 20, 2023, from 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM at the CNC, Kelowna Minor Lacrosse will host a free Learn-to-Play Box Lacrosse session.
This free play to learn event is open to boys and girls born between 2008 and 2019, offering a perfect chance for children and teens to try their hand at one of Canada's most thrilling sports. Lacrosse, known for its fast pace and skillful play, is an excellent way for kids to develop coordination, agility, and teamwork skills.
Participants are requested to bring their own helmet, gloves, sport jock, and stick. However, for those without equipment, KMLA will have a limited number of helmets, gloves, and sticks available on a first-come, first-serve basis, as way to make it as accessible as possible.
KMLA's coaches and staff will be on hand to guide newcomers through the basics of Box Lacrosse, ensuring a fun and safe environment for all.
Can't make it on December 20th? Don't worry! We have two more Learn-to-Play sessions lined up for January 17 and February 21, 2024.
