A fundraising campaign has been organized for Okanagan musician, Tim Reardon of the Young'Uns. Reardon recently had more than $8,000 worth of sound equipment stolen from his shed just two days before he had a gig to play in Kamloops.
Insurance will cover some of the costs from the stolen gear, but friends and family are hoping to recover about $5,000 through the campaign.
Reardon has been making a living as a musician since 1989.
"There has been a huge amount of people wanting to give back to Tim for all that he has given us over the decades so, here's a way you can all help," said Brad Krauza, a friend and campaign organizer.
Krauza also said to stay tuned for a location and time, as they may put together a jam session on Sunday to help raise a few more funds.
