Mounties have launched an investigation after a man in his 30s was found dead on a popular Lake Country trail.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was found at the summit of the Spion Kop trail on Tuesday at about 9 am.
He was already dead when the call came in, police said.
Search and rescue personnel and firefighters recovered the man’s body.
"At this time, criminality is not suspected in the man's death," said Cpl Jocelyn Noseworthy.
The man was from Lake Country.
The BC Coroners Service is also investigating.
