UPDATE: BC woman, 26, found safe

(UPDATE: May 31 at 10:20 am): The woman has now been found.

Police said she is "safe and sound."

(Original story: May 23 at 9:30 am): Mounties in the BC Interior have asked for the public’s help to locate a missing woman.

Chyna Thomson, who is 26, was last heard from on May 20.

Police in Cranbrook said they’re concerned for her wellbeing.

They provided the following description of the woman:

White
5 ft 8 in
205 lbs
Red hair
Hazel eyes

Anyone with information about Thomson’s whereabouts is urged to contact their local police.
