The organizers behind Shambhala Music Festival shared some exciting news on Tuesday.
Located along the Salmo River, a newly developed campground on the popular festival grounds will open this spring for recreational use.
Campers will be able to book a spot on the 30-plus acre site, which features riverfront access, RV services as well as showers and washrooms.
Booking dates are expected to run from May long weekend until at least Labour Day.

“Please rest assured during 2020 the team wasn’t sitting back waiting for life to get back to normal,” said Shambhala in a release.
“We worked all summer to build a new campground to help you get closer to home.”
In December, Shambhala announced it is cautiously planning for the festival to return this summer, although, the campground and the festival will operate as two different entities.
