Coquihalla fully reopened, drivers warned of dense fog

The Coquihalla Highway has been fully reopened following a closure overnight.

A vehicle incident at about 2 am closed the southbound lanes between Coquihalla Lakes Road and Zopkios Brake Check.

✅CLEAR #BCHwy5 - OPEN southbound between Exit 228 / Coquihalla Lakes Rd and Exit 217 / Zopkios Brake Check, following an earlier vehicle incident.

All lanes available.

The road was cleared and reopened at about 4 am, however.

DriveBC is this morning warning of dense fog, limited visibility and slippery surfaces along the highway.
