For a second consecutive year, Jaeli Ibbetson has been recognized as a Canada West Second Team All-Star.
The Kelowna Secondary School graduate earned the honour after another impressive season playing for her hometown UBC Okanagan Heat.
She posted career-best marks of 17.7 points per game, 12.7 rebounds per game and four assists per game, good for second, first and fourth in those categories respectively.

Ibbetson is also cementing her place in UBCO Heat history, as she set new single-season marks for most points (353) and rebounds (253).
Most recently, Ibbetson forged her name in the UBCO and Canada West history books by recording a triple-double in the Heat’s final game of the regular season.
It was the first triple-double in program history and just the 11th in Canada West’s 51-year history, becoming the eighth player to ever do so.
Ibbetson and the Heat will begin the playoffs tonight as they take on the Trinity Western Spartans at 8 pm in Abbotsford.
With a win, the Heat would move on to face the top-seed Saskatchewan Huskies on Thursday night.
After five days of playoff action, a Canada West champion will be crowned and host the Valerie Girsberger Trophy on Sunday.
The entire playoff tournament will be played at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford.
