A Victoria man rightfully busted a move after recently scratching his way to a life-changing windfall.
David S. bought a $20 Diamond Scratch & Win ticket on a whim and it produced the game’s top prize of $2-million.
“I took the ticket to the till and did a little dance,” he recalled of the moment he realized he won. “I called my mom immediately!”
He has no specific plans for his windfall yet, but plans to celebrate by treating his mom to a nice dinner.
“It’s really surreal,” he said when asked by BCLC representatives how it feels to win.
David bought the winning ticket at Devonshire Vape and Cigars on Esquimalt Road in Victoria.
