Country superstar Keith Urban has been announced as the headliner for the 2024 Sunfest Country Music Festival in the Cowichan Valley.
Held at Laketown Ranch, people from across BC attend the festival every year.
Keith Urban’s 24 number one hits, including “Wasted Time”, “Blue Ain’t Your Color“, ”Somebody Like You” and “The Fighter” promise to make next year's festival an unforgettable experience.
This will be his first visit to the Island since 2015, and fans can look forward to witnessing the two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year perform with his signature guitar skills and captivating vocals live.
Organizers say his 2024 Sunfest appearance will also mark a promise-made-good in bringing Urban back to Vancouver Island, as the pandemic dashed his 2020 and 2021 Sunfest bookings.
The 2023 edition is taking place this weekend, with headliner Blake Shelton, who takes the stage tomorrow.
Joining him are popular artists Billy Currington, Lonestar, High Valley, Jess Moskaluke, Lindsay Ell and more.
Music lovers of all ages are encouraged to secure their tickets early for the 2024 festival, as organizers expect it to draw people from across BC and beyond. First tier early bird tickets on sale August 22 at 9 am on the Sunfest website.
