Driving ranges started to open around the Central Okanagan over the past few days and you won’t have to wait long for courses to start following suit.
Typically Two Eagles Golf Course is the first to open in the spring and this year will be no different.
The popular West Kelowna track confirmed today that it will open the golf course on Saturday, March 11, exactly one week after opening the driving range.
Other courses won’t be far behind, with Michaelbrook, Orchard Greens and Mission Creek likely to be the first to open their courses on the Kelowna side of the bridge.
Michaelbrook has said that Brookside Grill will open on March 15 and the hope is to open the course before that, although a call to the pro shop from KelownaNow was not answered.
Orchard Greens and Mission Creek have yet to release any information on a potential opening day.
Full length courses throughout the Central Okanagan are still likely at least a couple weeks away from opening.
If Mother Nature cooperates, you will likely see them start to open towards the end of March and that process will continue into early April.
