Who keyed a car in West Kelowna on New Year’s Day?

After several months without being able to identify a suspect, the West Kelowna RCMP is turning to the public in hopes of advancing an investigation.

Mounties are trying to figure out who keyed a car that was parked in a residential driveway on New Year’s Day.

It happened in the 2300 block of Thacker Drive around 10:30 am on Jan. 1, 2026.

“The incident was captured on residential CCTV. The suspect is described as wearing a beige jacket and light coloured pants,” explained an RCMP release.

“Video footage shows the individual arriving and departing in what is believed to be a white four door sedan.”

Police are hoping the photo from the CCTV footage can help identify a suspect, and are asking anyone with information to contact the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477.
