**Highlights from Saturday night's blowout win can be found at the bottom of the story**
After a disappointing road loss in Wenatchee on Friday night, the Kelowna Rockets bounced back in a major way 24 hours later.
Back home against the Vancouver Giants, the Rockets got two goals each from a trio of players in a convincing 8-2 win.

Owen Folstrom and Mazden Leslie both scored twice in the opening frame, as did Tij Iginla as the Rockets raced out to a 5-0 lead through 20 minutes.
Carson Wetsch scored for Kelowna in the second period, but the Giants scored twice to cut the deficit to four.
That’s as close as they’d come, however, Iginla’s second of the game and another from Vojtech Cihar put things well out of reach in the third.

Josh Banini made 30 saves to secure the victory for the Rockets, while Kelton Pyne surrendered all eight goals on 41 shots at the other end.
Ty Halaburda, who was Vancouver’s captain until being traded to Kelowna in January, skated in his 300th WHL game on Saturday night.
Next up for the Rockets is their annual afternoon Family Day game against the Tri-City Americans on Monday. It’s the perfect chance to bring the young kids to the game with a 2:05 pm start time.
