Rare Cloud Formations Appear in Australia

A very rare cloud formation appeared near Melbourne, Australia and it has people talking all around the world.

Known as a fallstreak hole, or cloud hole, is a large gap in the clouds and are usually formed when an airplane passes through freezing clouds that are still in a liquid form.

The temperature then drops as the aircraft jets through and leaves the cloud particles in a freezing, solid form. The particles soon drop from the cloud formation and evaporate producing the spectacular looking fallstreak hole.

It’s an eerie sight to see, like something out of an alien movie!
