The first set of falls are about 10 minutes from the parking lot.

In our continuing series on waterfall hikes in Kelowna and nearby areas, we visit the Mill Creek Regional Park for this article. The Mill Creek Regional park is located just northeast of the Kelowna Airport just off Spencer Road. Refer to the linked map below for information on how to get there. The Regional District has some additional information on the park including the restrictions on park use.

The park is easy to get and has ample parking located just off of Spencer Road. Once out of the parking lot you will have two choices for paths to take, you can take one on the way up and the other on the way down as they both link back up.

There is a warning along the path to be aware of poison ivy.

There are several sets of falls as you make your way up Mill Creek. This set is more challenging to access,

Keep in mind that the further you go up the creek, the more challenging the trail becomes. You should be wearing good footwear and it is not suitable for all people due to narrow sloping paths and steep banks. The first set of falls is where the family fun should take place and then back down to the parking lot. The first set of falls are the most dramatic. Watch our video for more information.

Mill Creek empties into Okanagan Lake near the foot of the William R. Bennett Bridge.
