A six-figure lottery win is enough to make anyone scream.
For Kamloops resident Jessica D., she simply couldn’t contain her dreams after recently learning that she’d won $100,000 from a $5 scratch and win ticket.
“I was yelling throughout the house and the kids thought something was wrong, until I told them what happened,” she explained. “Then we were all yelling!”

Jessica says she plans to celebrate her windfall by hosting a pool party for all her friends. In addition, she plans to treat her kids and put the rest of her winnings into savings.
“Disbelief is where I’m at,” she said when asked how it feels to win such a large sum of money. “It almost feels like it’s not real.”
The winning 777 Scratch & Win ticket was purchased at Dallas Park Store on Dallas Drive in Kamloops.
