The search continues for Allan Francescutti, who was last seen on April 16, as crews from across BC have since made their way to the Okanagan to help locate the 79-year-old.
In an update from the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue on Sunday, April 28, ground, UTV, tracking and dog crews from Grand Forks, Kamloops, Kaslo and the Fraser Valley continue to search the Dee Lake area.
On Saturday, members encountered snow, sleet and rain but made “good progress” searching around where Francescutti’s vehicle was found.
“Search manager Duane Tresnich asks members of the public to stay out of the search area,” added the update.
