Mark your calendars as the impactful Move to Cure ALS returns to Kelowna on June 9, 2024.
The fundraiser is a signature event for the ALS Society of British Columbia and is a fun, family-friendly way to support the cause by walking, running or strolling.
Participants from the region will make their way to the grandstand at Kelowna City Park to register at 10 am before starting the walk at 11 am.
Last year, more than 140 community members attended the event and raised $44,000 towards the cause.
All the funds raised will stay in BC and the Yukon and go towards supporting people with ALS, patient care and research through Project Hope.
Donations are being accepted online before the walk takes place and a 50/50 raffle has opened.
Tickets for the raffle are available online at this link and the jackpot is growing each day, with the draw date set for June 28, 2024.
