The BC SPCA Lottery for animals in need is back with its biggest spring prizes yet.
This time, the prize pool includes 30 cash prizes and a bonus 50/50 pot of up to $800,000.
“It’s our biggest spring 50/50 pot yet,” says Alina Wilson, the BC SPCA senior officer of digital giving. “We expect our most popular ticket packages to sell out quickly again this year.”
Buying a lottery ticket helps BC’s vulnerable animals.
Those who purchased tickets for the lottery last spring raised $2.5 million and provided medical care, food and warmth to thousands of animal rescues.
Tickets for the lottery are $30 for one, $60 for three, or $90 for six.
The 50/50 draw tickets are $10 for one, $25 for three, or $40 for six and must be purchased in conjunction with a main lottery ticket.
To purchase a ticket, participants must be at least 19 years old and physically in BC.
Tickets can be purchased at lottery.spca.bc.ca or by phone at 1-855-205-5998.
The sales deadline is May 12.
