Brand new Ambleside Music Festival in West Vancouver drops 2022 lineup

Although some may still be mourning the loss of major music festivals like Squamish and Pemberton, British Columbia still has a number of great smaller festivals to enjoy.

The latest to join that group is Ambleside Music Festival, which will debut in West Vancouver from Aug. 12-14, 2022.

Today, the festival dropped its inaugural lineup and it’s packed full of recognizable and exciting names.

This year’s headliners will be The Offspring, Mother Mother, Marianas Trench and Walk Off The Earth.

Joining them on the undercard are names like grandson, Charlotte Cardin, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Hannah Georgas, Little Destroyer, Scott Helman, Tokyo Police Club, The Blue Stones, Virginia to Vegas and plenty more.

The festival is being put on by GSL Group, who is also in charge of Kelowna’s Rock The Lake, and president Graham S. Lee said the company is “overjoyed” to bring a summer festival to Ambleside Park.

“We believe that the Ambleside Music Festival will offer something for everyone and will become an important mainstay of the community for years to come,” he explained.

“Our vision is to make West Vancouver and the Ambleside Music Festival a key destination and calendar highlight for music on Canada’s West Coast.”

Early bird tickets are now on sale and they will set you back $245 for the full weekend, although children’s passes for those aged 6-12 are half that amount.

There are also VIP weekend packages available for $525.
