Grand Forks resident sings on stage with Paul McCartney

On Thursday night, a dream came true for a Beatles' fan from Grand Forks, B.C.

Gregg Anderson spent Thursday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, singing on stage with Paul McCartney for his One On One tour.

After donating funds through a non-profit organization called, Omaze, Anderson found out that he'd been selected to meet McCartney on stage during the soundcheck, and also received VIP seats for the show.

Anderson had used Omaze to donate funds to the David Lynch Foundation, a non-profit that helps at-risk populations through meditation.

After the show, Anderson received a tweet-out from McCartney, saying "Good job Omaze winner Gregg A. from Grand Forks, BC! Way to support Lynch Foundation."

He even got chauffeured around in Brooklyn.

I'm now a big wig!

Many of Anderson's friends and family chimed in on Twitter to cheer him on in his moment.

One family member tweeted, "Good things happen to good people."

His brother, Jim replied to McCartney's tweet by thanking him for recognizing his brother's charity.

"Thanks for rewarding him for wanting to do a little good in the world," tweeted Jim Anderson.

Anderson sang along with McCartney to the song, "Get Back."

After the night was over, Anderson posted a photo online with the caption: "No words can express how I feel..."

It's unknown whether or not Anderson flew or simply floated on a cloud back to Grand Forks.

McCartney has three more shows in New York City.
