Fans of decadent desserts will want to check out this new Kelowna business when it opens later this month.
Crave Cupcakes will soon welcome the public into its seventh location, in the heart of Kelowna's bustling North End, which will be the brand’s first shop in British Columbia.

The Prairie-born cupcake business, which specializes in from-scratch baking that produces the most delectable treats, was founded in Calgary 21 years ago by sisters Carolyne McIntyre Jackson and Jodi Willoughby.
“Our mom, grandmothers and aunts were amazing bakers,” the sisters explain on the Crave Cupcakes website. “They not only taught us how to bake, but they passed along their values of quality, honesty and integrity down to both of us.”

Over the past two decades, the business has grown to include three more locations in Calgary, one in Edmonton and another in Saskatoon.
When they officially open the doors to their Kelowna shop later this month, it will be their first new location in 12 years.
“A thing that we love to do is share really great cake with lots of people, so that’s an exciting thing for us to be able to be in Kelowna,” Carolyne and Jodi say. “For us to be in the area and provide people a place to gather and connect, we’re really excited about moving into the community.”
An exciting twist on Crave Cupcakes’ BC debut in the Okanagan is that it will happen alongside a new project – CeCe’s Coffee Shop.
“After waiting 12 years to open a new store, we knew we had to create something special,” an Instagram post explains.
CeCe’s will serve coffee, tea and a “carefully crafted café menu true to your roots, using only real ingredients.”

Kelowna’s own Crave Cupcakes is expected to open in mid-June and it will be located at 100-750 Vaughan Ave.
Follow along on their Instagram and Facebook pages to be the first to know when that opening date is announced.
