The 11th annual New Year’s Day Polar Bear Dip in support of Adaptive Adventures is happening today.
Since 2015, Adaptive Adventures (previously known as CRIS Adaptive) has hosted the Kelowna Polar Bear dip as an annual fundraiser to support its adaptive and accessible outdoor recreation programs for people living with disabilities.

The event is being held at Tugboat Beach in Waterfront Park today from 1-2:30 pm.
Registration begins at 1 pm but food trucks and live music will be set up to pass the time until the dip begins at 2 pm.
All proceeds raised from the event will go directly towards adaptive outdoor recreation programs for people with disabilities.
Participants are encouraged to arrive early to check in/register, show their tickets and complete a waiver.
