The trend towards high-density housing in Kelowna's downtown core is proving popular for buyers.
Developers sold half of all units for Innocept Development's new "St.Paul" project on the corner of St. Paul Street and Clement Avenue.
Once finished, the development will hold 50 condo units, featuring an assortment of studio, one, and two-bedroom homes alongside four urban townhomes beginning in the mid-$200s.
"The city wants more density downtown and this is from the same developer as The Stockwell, so it's going to be a similar type building with similar finishing," said Don Warkentin of Fortune Marketing.
The building's first floor will be allocated for street level parking, with stalls for every unit in the building.
The project is the second development on St. Paul St for the Innocept Development group, who also built The Stockwell Downtown.
