New Highway Cams Go Live Along Highway 97

Several new BC Highway Cams have been installed and are operational in the southern interior, including along Highway 97.

A total of eight DriveBC cameras went live Friday morning including four near Westbank along Highway 97 at Highway 97C. Three more cameras have gone up near Kaleden along Highway 97 at the Highway 3A junction. And one more camera is live at Aspen Grove, located along Highway 97C at the Highway 5A junction.

The new highway cams will allow motorists to check traffic volume, for potential accidents, and weather conditions before hitting the road. The additional cameras help to complete the current video system already in place in the Okanagan. Cameras along BC highways provide valuable information to motorists so they can be prepared for all types of driving conditions.
